black friday indeed

so i'm sitting here watching the santa claus and i have one question: how did tim allen become so popular? i mean yes i'll watch home improvement late into the night, and i love the santa claus, but really.. he's no epic comedian or anything. i'd like to meet one person who claims to be "tims biggest fan". i really would. i also would like to comment on the tenderly coined term or label " holiday shoppers". holiday= good, shoppers= ruthless. these people claim to be human but i swear they could be wolves. i opened the store a half hour early for our impatient creatures, and was lovingly greeted by children trying to break my glass doors, knocking over bags, and parents disciplining other people's children and in turn these parents almost getting punched in the cheekbone by the true birth mothers. of course i'm no mediator when i'm the only one behind the register with a line stretching to our back room where our feast of papa johns awaits us. how i LOVE the holiday season. i actually really do, i enjoy these crazy shoppers. it's entertaining to see how people really handle themselves under stress and on an empty stomach and tired brain. i must say, some people can be pretty terrific, and i was pleased with how i handled myself today. a few customers even commented on how cheery i was. and then i bought two shirts from forever 21 for 5 dollars and grew even more filled with the shopper spirit. work is fantastic. and i mean that with all the strength i have left from this day.

another thought: it's the attitude not the aptitude that measures the altitude.

i'd like to pretend i made that up but it's from a great movie about... the holocaust! ohhhh downer. sad.

i'm off to barnes and noble or target.. to get a book for our coffee table that we can write what we are grateful for in.

love to all.
